'87-'90 Reporter, Minnesota Daily, University of Minnesota. Covered environmental issues and human rights; occasional arts reviews.

'90-'96 Secretary (temp & permanent), major positions: University of Minnesota Surgery Department (6 months); Rust Consulting, a legal consulting firm (two years); temporary office worker (1 and a half years); Michael A. Appleman, Psychologist (two years).

'97-Present, home-based Entrepreneur. Founded Jalen Enterprises Jan. 1997; Northeast InfoLine June 1997; changed NE InfoLine's name to Twin Cities InfoLine Jan. 2000. Distributor of KareMor spray vitamins, Neways personal care (Chinese herbals, personal care), personalized story books, broker of four-color promotional printing; media promotions (learn about the previously-mentioned avocations on this website). Media promotions for the Ard Godfrey house, Minneapolis; currently helping a local fellow type and publish his memoirs. The flexibility, autonomy, and unlimited possibilities self-employment brings can't be beat!
